View Product DetailsZerothermo Technology Co., Ltd., a prominent subsidiary of the esteemed CBVAC Group, is a leading national high-tech enterprise at the forefront of thermal science. Headquartered within the state-of-the-art Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, we manage our core manufacturing base in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. This facility stands proud as one of China's most comprehensive production complexes for advanced vacuum technology application products.
We leverage decades of vacuum manufacturing pedigree from CBVAC Group to engineer advanced thermal management materials. By developing fumed silica and fiberglass core vacuum insulation panels (VIPs), vacuum insulated glass (VIG), and nano-microporous high-temperature materials, we provide answers to global decarbonization requirements.

Special sizes (beyond the standard range of ANSI/ASME/DIN) are produced precisely according to customer technical drawings.

View DetailsTraditional insulation materials (such as Expanded Polystyrene, Polyurethane, or Mineral Wool) transfer heat through three mechanisms: solid conduction, radiative heat transfer, and gas convection. Gas convection typically accounts for up to 60% of the total thermal transfer. Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs) eliminate the gas convection component by extracting air molecules out of the core structure and sealing it within a gas-tight envelope.
By dropping internal pressure down below 1 mbar, the mean free path of any remaining air molecules exceeds the average pore diameter of the core. When using Fumed Silica (pore size ~10-100nm), a mild vacuum creates high-efficiency insulation. For Fiberglass Core Materials, which possess larger pore structures, a much deeper vacuum is required. The resulted thermal conductivity ($K$-value) of a vacuum sealed insulation panel is typically between 0.0035 to 0.005 W/(m·K)—up to ten times more efficient than conventional materials.
"To put this in perspective, a 20mm thick vacuum insulation panel provides the same thermal performance as 150-200mm of traditional polyurethane foam, reclaiming precious cargo space for refrigerated containers and building systems."
China is the global powerhouse for VIP manufacturing, and Zerothermo’s production base in Nanchong stands at the pinnacle of this industry. Sourcing from our Chinese facility offers several distinct advantages:
Global procurement teams must balance thermal properties, cost, structural strength, and delivery schedules. When designing custom solutions, several engineering considerations should be reviewed:
Our vacuum sealed technology provides comprehensive solutions for industries striving to lower emissions, reduce energy footprint, and secure temperature stability.
Our solutions support China's "dual-carbon" goals and help global partners meet LEED, BREEAM, and international cold chain compliance standards. By utilizing fumed silica vacuum insulation panel products and vacuum insulated glass, we enable ultra-low energy and passive building profiles.
Under normal indoor building environments or inside cold-chain shipper containers, our fumed silica VIPs possess a design life expectancy exceeding 30 to 50 years. Fumed silica cores are highly resistant to moisture-induced degradation, maintaining high thermal efficiency (retaining $K$-values below 0.008 W/m·K) even if internal vacuum pressure slowly increases over decades.
Yes. VIPs cannot be cut, resized, or drilled on site because modifying them will puncture the outer envelope and compromise the vacuum. Therefore, all sizing, curve configurations, cutouts, and corner radii must be pre-planned and custom-fabricated during factory assembly. Our Sichuan factory supports custom shapes, including cylindrical shapes, L-shapes, and pre-formed pipe sections.
Fumed silica core VIPs are highly non-combustible (Class A fire rated), non-toxic, and retain low thermal conductivity even if vacuum levels degrade slightly. They have larger molecular pore paths than fiberglass but are structurally stable. Fiberglass core VIPs offer lower thermal conductivity initially (around 0.002 W/m·K) and are lighter and thinner, but they require a deep vacuum to maintain performance. If a fiberglass VIP is punctured, its insulation capacity drops to matches standard glass fiber insulation, whereas a punctured fumed silica VIP still performs similarly to standard microporous insulation boards.
To avoid accidental punctures, we recommend laminating panels with protective layers like rubber sheets, EPS, XPS, or sheet metal casings before delivery. During installation, use proper adhesives or dedicated mechanical brackets rather than direct screws or anchors.
