Standard vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) cannot be cut, drilled, or modified on-site, as doing so punctures the barrier film, releasing the vacuum state and reducing performance. To solve this, Zerothermo specializes in manufacturing custom-shaped VIPs (round, L-shaped, custom dimensions) based on customer drawings, ensuring an exact fit. Fumed silica is an inorganic silicon dioxide material. It is inherently non-combustible and can withstand continuous temperatures up to 1000°C. Using a fumed silica core enables our wall boards to achieve Class A fire ratings, making them ideal for high-density public areas such as elevator fire doors, high schools, high-rise luxury towers, and high-temp industrial environments.
An individual 20mm Zerothermo VIP panel combined with typical partition drywalls can boost standard wall Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings by 12 to 18 dB.
