Thermal bridging at the edge is controlled by using high-resistance glass spacer materials and specialized metal-solder alloys. Our VIG is designed for a minimum operating lifespan of 25 years. We utilize lead-free metal edge seals and an integrated chemical getter system within the vacuum cavity. This getter continuously absorbs trace outgassing molecules, maintaining a long-term vacuum level below 10⁻⁴ Pa and preventing measurable loss of thermal performance over the product's lifespan.
