Get QuoteIn the landscape of modern structural thermodynamics, Vacuum Insulated Glass (VIG) stands as the pinnacle of energy-saving glazing. Standard multi-layered double or triple glazing relies on inert gas fills (such as argon or krypton) to slow convective heat transfer. However, gas conduction persists. VIG overcomes this physical limitation by evacuating the air from the cavity between two panes of glass, maintaining a vacuum level below 10-2 Pa. Because heat requires a medium to travel through via conduction or convection, a vacuum creates a near-impenetrable barrier to thermal transmission.
By eliminating gas molecules, the center-of-glass U-value drops precipitously to levels as low as 0.4 W/m²K, which matches thick insulated walls while maintaining complete visual transparency. To prevent the glass panes from collapsing under atmospheric pressure (approx. 10 tons per square meter), a grid of microscopic support pillars is placed at regular intervals. These pillars, engineered from high-strength alloys or micro-ceramic compositions, are designed to minimize contact area and thus reduce thermal bridging to negligible levels.
The longevity of Vacuum Insulated Glass relies entirely on the hermetic seal of the glass periphery. Zerothermo utilizes state-of-the-art metal solder sealing and low-temperature glass frit technologies to prevent micro-leaks, assuring an active service life exceeding 25 years under extreme weather variations.
By employing high-precision manufacturing, we ensure that both panes are fully tempered. In case of mechanical impacts, our VIG maintains structure or fragments into blunt, non-hazardous segments, conforming to international safety glass standards (SGCC / EN 12150).
The physical vacuum state suppresses sound waves, which require a physical medium to travel. Our VIG products achieve an acoustic transmission loss (STC rating) of up to 39 dB, creating exceptionally quiet interiors for busy urban environments.
As a core subsidiary of the prestigious CBVAC Group, Zerothermo Technology Co., Ltd. leverages one of China's largest comprehensive production bases for vacuum technology products, situated in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. This industrial-scale facility provides a robust supply chain footprint, allowing us to maintain competitive pricing, strict quality controls, and highly reliable lead times for international projects.
The synergy within our domestic supply chain ensures easy access to high-purity raw materials, such as fumed silica cores, low-E tempered glass, and specialized high-vacuum getters. By integrating advanced automation with automated vacuum inspection systems, we eliminate localized defects before shipment. Global enterprises sourcing from our Chinese production plant benefit from reduced per-unit costs, large-scale custom fabrication capability, and optimized deep-sea logistics channels.

View DetailDeploying structural vacuum technology across borders requires absolute alignment with localized codes. Zerothermo systems are rigorously tested and comply with global certification benchmarks, including CE (EN 12150-1) for the European Union, and SGCC / IGCC (ASTM E2190) guidelines for North American markets. By matching low solar heat gain coefficients (SHGC) and minimal thermal transmittance specs, our panels facilitate project-level compliance under US ASHRAE 90.1, California Title 24, and the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
For custom engineering and high-temperature safety door profiles, we manufacture using ISO 9001:2015 certified quality systems. We support mechanical engineers, architectural consultants, and logistics leads by providing structural calculations, detailed wind load analyses, thermal simulation files (THERM), and custom custom-clearance documentation ensuring zero delays at international shipping hubs.

Traditional insulating glass units (IGUs) utilize a wide gap filled with argon or krypton gas. However, VIG eliminates the gas cavity entirely by pulling a deep vacuum (less than 10-2 Pa). This physically blocks conductive and convective heat transfer. Consequently, VIG provides equivalent or superior thermal performance (U-values down to 0.4 W/m²K) at a fraction of the thickness and weight of traditional triple-pane windows.
Yes. Because Vacuum Insulation Panels are encapsulated under vacuum with a rigid barrier film, they cannot be cut, drilled, or shaped on-site. Therefore, all shapes (such as L-shapes, circles, or custom polygons) and cutouts must be precisely designed and pre-fabricated at our Nanchong facility according to engineering drawings.
Our VIG and VIP insulation systems are manufactured under strict ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 guidelines. For building envelopes, our products carry safety glass certifications like SGCC (North America) and CE EN 12150 compliance audits for the European market, validating mechanical load endurance and thermal reliability.
By employing high-temperature glass frit and advanced edge alloy soldering, the vacuum cavity remains tightly sealed for decades. In house simulated aging tests indicate our VIG units retain their structural vacuum integrity for over 25 years under extreme seasonal temperature cycles.
Fumed silica core VIPs deliver an exceptionally low thermal conductivity, typically ranging between 0.004 W/m·K and 0.006 W/m·K at room temperature. This is roughly five to ten times more efficient than traditional insulating materials like EPS, XPS, or mineral wool, allowing for maximum space savings inside refrigeration systems and building walls.
