Vacuum Insulated Glass (VIG) represents a major leap in architectural glazing. Traditional Double Insulated Glass Units (IGU) rely on inert gases like Argon or Krypton to reduce heat transfer. Over time, these gases escape, leading to fogging and a steady drop in thermal performance. VIG solves this issue by creating an internal vacuum chamber ($10^{-2}$ to $10^{-4}$ Pa) between the glass panes. In this environment, gas molecules are too scarce to conduct heat, resulting in near-zero convective and conductive thermal transfer.
Edge Sealing Excellence: The edge seal determines the operational lifespan of VIG. Our factory utilizes a proprietary low-temperature glass solder method, which forms a hermetic seal without compromising the structural temper of the glass panes. This process prevents micro-cracks and maintains the vacuum chamber for decades.
Micro-Spacer Matrix Technology: To withstand atmospheric pressure, VIG requires an array of micro-spacers placed between the glass panes. Our engineering team utilizes highly transparent, high-strength micro-spacers positioned in a calculated grid. This configuration minimizes thermal bridging and keeps the spacers nearly invisible to the eye, providing clear views and high light transmittance.
